A photographic exploration of Morocco's timeless cities, deserts, and traditions.

For centuries, Morocco has served as a crossroads between Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, creating a rich tapestry of cultures, traditions, architecture, and daily life unlike anywhere else in the world. This immersive photography journey, led by Fort Worth Camera's Holly Stricklin and Open Sky Expeditions' Temu Nana, traces a route from the medieval lanes of Fes, across the Atlas Mountains and into the Sahara Desert, before concluding amid the vibrant energy of Marrakech. Refined over more than a decade, it remains one of our most rewarding and carefully crafted adventures.

Along the way, you'll explore bustling souks, meet local families and artisans, photograph dramatic landscapes ranging from fertile valleys to towering dunes, and experience the warmth and hospitality for which Morocco is renowned. Combined with expert photography guidance, carefully selected accommodations, and a thoughtfully paced itinerary, the result is a journey as culturally rewarding as it is visually inspiring.

WORDS FROM OUR TRAVELERS

"Our trip to Morocco was absolutely flawless. Moulay was a delight, and so interesting and informative. He really let us into the Muslim world. Temu kept everything so organized, and running smoothly. He was also funny, and charming. Morocco was a very Magical and visual place, especially for photographers."

- Tom L.

"You guys are simply the BEST. Thank you for an amazing, one- of-a-kind, never-to-be-forgotten, awesome, experience... This was my first photography tour, I have only before traveled by myself, and never even knew these things really existed. So I cannot compare it to any others, but I have a feeling that you guys have spoiled me for any others."

- Sally S.

"It was the trip of a lifetime for me and John. It couldn't have been better. Thank you for everything!"

-Wendy H.

"I've been on several photo tours....I like Open Sky because of the attention to detail and our Tour Director...Temu. The food and accommodations were wonderful."

-Patricia S.

"The trip was fantastic. I have gone on other photo trips and this one was by far the best. You provided the most instruction and feedback. I also loved the fact that the hotels were small and interesting, not big and faceless. And Temu was wonderful. He was unfailingly cheerful, helpful, and also great as a photographer."

- Susan B.

"I had a wonderful time and would recommend this trip very highly for the diversity of the experiences, exposure to Moroccan culture, and wonderful staff."

-Margaret H.

"The tour was spectacular -- even beyond our high expectations."

-Hap M.
